PICARD presents the 2023 fall/winter collection at ILM

This year the International Leather Goods Fair (ILM) will open its doors a month earlier, as usual, in at the Offenbach Trade Fair from February 4th to 6th, 2023. The Leather Goods Manufacturer PICARD was there again this year and presented under the motto "Handcraft meets Fashion" in the new Fall/Winter 2023 Collection. In doing so, he demonstrates his two core competencies: traditional craftmanship and stylish sense for fashion trends and design. As in previous seasons, the leather goods manufacturer places great value on our environment this fall and uses LWG and SLF certified leather and recycled materials.

“Our new collection has been extremely well recieved by our customers worldwide”, reports sales manager Nina Schator after the first sales appointments in the Showroom and at the ILM. “Especially the colour accents in the early delivery dates and the fashion highlights such as quilting, fake fur, natural leather surfaces, the puffer look and vintage style fabric were well recieved."  A bright magenta pink, hazel, honey, cedar (blue-tinged dark green) and royal blue provide colourful accents in the new season. “Thanks to the well-thought-out colouring of the leather and synthetic materials in in conjunction with new trendy shapes and timeless classics, which can also be complemented in fashion colours, all customers can find individually harmonious ranges.”

“The ILM continues to be the most important trade fair in the bag sector, especially due to the high level of order activity." Especially with the many changes that are occuring in the trade fair landscape in terms of dates, locations and content, we as a brand are happy to have such a stable, joyful platform with ILM for ordering, and existing/new customer contacts," says Schator. "The leather goods fair in Offenbach also offers us fast and uncomplicated communication. Through this open exchange, we get very good additional impressions about the current situation in the industry and trading partners, as well as high level of feedback about which products are being sought and which topics will be relevant in the future." The number of visitors in EDITION #157 was still bellow pre-Corona levels, but there were 40% more visitors than the previous ILM. The sharp increase in international buyers is striking. 36% of visitors came from abroad.
"We are very satisfied. The Fair was great; the atmosphere was super! International customers were particularly well represented. Customers enjoy the PICARD brand and its products. Overall, more colours will be ordered for the coming winter: especially pink, green and yellow."
