Flea market flair at the Hummels home - on Saturday, entrepreneur Cathy Hummels hosted an exclusive second-hand bazaar at her old home. She was supported by the renowned German bag manufacturer PICARD, among others.
Embossing for a good cause
PICARD was on site as a partner and offered a diverse selection of exclusive bags as well as a special embossing event where personal bracelets were designed. The high-quality leather bracelets were made from leather scraps from the bag production and individually embossed for the visitors live on the spot. All proceeds from the sale of the bracelets will be donated 100 per cent to the organisation BILD hilft e.V. "Ein Herz für Kinder" to help needy children and their families. There was also a charity table: Cathy Hummels will also donate 100 per cent of the proceeds of these items sold here to BILD hilft e.V. "Ein Herz für Kinder".
Live-Shopping with Cathy
Around 250 shopping fans accepted Cathy ́s invitation and enjoyed clothing, PICARD handbags, toys, decoration and furniture at small prices. The setting was like a relaxed little summer party and Cathy was on hand to offer personal shopping advice.
Cathy on her secondhand bazaar:
"A new life is starting for me now. After the Bazaar, I am now closing the door on my old home. It will then be up for sale with immediate effect. Unfortunately, I no longer have room for all my things in my new home. Therefore, I am happy that my treasures have found new owners at this lovely happening. From clothes to toys, kitchen utensils, beauty items, decoration to furniture, everything is there. It will be like a small fair. Old things are allowed to go and make room for new things - and that feels good and liberating for me."
