PICARD HEIßT NEUE AUSZUBILDENDE WILLKOMMEN

PICARD WELCOMES NEW APPRENTICES

We are delighted to welcome three new industrial clerk trainees to our headquarters in Obertshausen for the start of their apprenticeship in 2024.

Since August 26, 2024, we have been offering the new trainees the opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge in various areas of commercial administration. The apprenticeship includes the shipping, e-commerce, accounting, purchasing, sales, customer service and marketing departments. The trainees not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also valuable practical experience that optimally prepares them for their professional future.

Experienced mentors from previous apprenticeship years support the new trainees with their integration into everyday working life, the working environment and the team. At the beginning of their apprenticeship, they also take part in a brand workshop, which is held together with the marketing team to immerse them in the PICARD brand world. At the International Leather Goods Fair, the trainees will also be supported by experienced sales staff from the office and field sales teams.

“We are proud to welcome a new generation of industrial clerks to our company,” says Georg Picard, CEO. “Our apprenticeship programs provide a solid foundation that enables participants to successfully assert themselves in a dynamic market. Where possible, we take on our apprentices after they have successfully completed their apprenticeship in order to offer them long-term prospects.”

Apprenticeships with us are defined by close mentorship, diverse responsibilities, and integration across various departments. This gives apprentices the chance to enhance their skills and actively contribute to the company’s growth.

Interested applicants for the next apprenticeship year can apply now via the website or by e-mail to ausbildung@picard-fashion.com. As a traditional company, we also train e-commerce merchants and fine bag makers in the manufactory and look forward to receiving applications from motivated young people who want to shape the future of PICARD together.
