Mailand, 21. September 2023 - For the first time since 2017, the renowned German leather goods manufacturer PICARD once again presented its fashion collection to the international audience at MIPEL in Milan from 17 to 20 September 2023.
The 124th edition of MIPEL took place in the exhibition halls of the Fiera Milano-Rho (Milan, Italy) and is one of the most important trade fairs worldwide for the leather goods and fashion accessories industry. PICARD was represented by representatives from Belgium, Spain and Switzerland in the German Pavilion.
Potential and existing customers from all over the world - from Cyprus, Poland, Libya to the USA - were inspired by the new PICARD Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The natural materials of the PICARD collection meet bright and cheerful colours such as Lime, Lilac, Babe and Lipstick and exude pure joie de vivre. Casually elegant styles with cool details such as eye-catching straps, braiding, crochet and fine craftsmanship characterise the spring/summer collection.
"There were numerous, wonderful and new contacts from 'all over the world'. Reuniting with our existing customers from Lebanon and Armenia, among others, was a great pleasure," reports Ilona Olesen from PICARD's International Sales Department. "People have known each other for many years and the atmosphere is almost familiar."
MIPEL as an international meeting place and exchange is simply a highlight at the end of the season. "We are already looking forward to the next fair in Milan in February - a presto!"
