24. August 2023 - Renowned leather goods manufacturer PICARD is pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with celebrity entrepreneur and presenter Cathy Hummels. The collaboration celebrates the traditional Munich Wiesn - the Oktoberfest - with an exquisite Wiesn Selection and partnership with Cathy Hummels Wiesn Bummel.
The bags selected by Cathy Hummels for the Wiesn Selection combine tradition and modernity, through PICARD's fashionable yet timeless designs, handmade in 95 years of fine tailoring tradition. The exclusive range includes a selection of stylish handbags, satchel bags and mini bags made of high-quality genuine leather and a baguette bag with floral prints on tapestry fabric. The colours and styles are inspired by Cathy Hummels' Dirndl collection, which was also released in August 2023 under the label Julia Trentini by the designer of the same name.
In June 2023, the German bag manufacturer already participated in Cathy Hummels' Secondhand Bazaar and supported the good cause on site with bags and an embossing campaign. "The cooperation with Cathy and her team harmonised immediately and was very uncomplicated, familiar and professional right from the start. We are looking forward to continuing the cooperation with her," says Janett Lorenz, responsible for cooperations and PR at PICARD.
Another highlight of the cooperation for this year's Oktoberfest is the participation of PICARD in the Wiesn Bummel, which will take place on 18 September 2023 in Munich. The Wiesn Bummel by Cathy Hummels has become an integral part of the Wiesn VIP scene and brings together well-known faces from the media and influencers for a very special day.
The Wiesn Selection by PICARD, selected by Cathy Hummels, will be available exclusively in the PICARD online shop, at www.picard-fashion.com, from 25 August 2023. This exclusive collection is a tribute to tradition and a symbol of the elegant and timeless designs that set PICARD apart.
